Surprise, Mom!

Erika and I wanted to plan something special for Mom's birthday. With Mom and Dad leaving a week from Monday (October 3), we decided it would be best to do something this weekend. Mom has always wanted a pedicure, so we kidnapped her in Wichita and took her to Tips and Toes to get our nails done. We all three got pedicures and then Erika and I took her out to eat.

Dad and Mom were at a reception in Wichita and I had arranged it with Dad to drop Mom off at Panera, where Erika and I would meet her! She was surprised!!!



None of us had ever had a pedicure before, so we were excited! Mom was a little nervous! Since none of us had ever experienced professional pedicures before, we weren't quite sure how everything worked! The chairs had these buttons you could push that would massage your back in different ways and places. It was the weirdest/coolest chair ever! I'm the sure the salon ladies were greatly amused at us (not our feet!). We kept giggling! What fun! Next time we'll know how to act like pros!







For supper, we feasted on Mediterranean food! Scrumptious!
